Senior Front-End Developer.

The Role: 

Dreamers of Day is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer experienced in WordPress and Drupal. This developer will be responsible for defining the architectural strategy and leading up the development team.

Responsibilities: 

• Mastery of CMS site building in Drupal and/or WordPress
• Expert in web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, GIT)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with APIs
• Experience creating responsive websites
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

Code reviews

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years of responsive front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• 5+ years of experience in a senior developer role
• Experience with WordPress a must (Drupal a plus)
• Experience with CSS pre-processors (SASS/LESS)
• Experience with source/version control (e.g. Git)
• Familiarity with Webpack, grunt, gulp a plus
• Experience with back-end integration and server-side templating
• Experience with client-side templating a plus (Twig)
• Experience with client-side JavaScript MVC frameworks a plus (e.g. React)
• Knowledgeable in Photoshop, able to translate mockups into code
• Experience with 3rd party API Integration
• Be a self-starter with a can-do attitude
• Be comfortable in fast-paced environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills with both teams and clients
