Dreamers of Day Wins Two Web Excellence Awards

We’re excited to announce that Dreamers of Day has won two Web Excellence Awards in Season 19. Our work on Exhibits USA won in the Cultural category, and our work on the California HOPE for Children Trust Account Program won in Public Services.

The Web Excellence Awards recognize outstanding web design and development worldwide, judged on creativity, design, usability, content, technology, and overall user experience. 

Exhibits USA: Cultural Web Excellence Award Winner

Exhibits USA, a national program of the nonprofit Mid-America Arts Alliance, helps museums, galleries, and cultural organizations engage their communities with traveling exhibitions and the resources to make them successful.

We rebuilt eusa.org from the ground up, with redesigned user journeys and information architecture, a mobile-first, fully responsive design, WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility, and a redesigned exhibition catalog and tour schedule where venues can filter, explore, and book traveling exhibitions directly on the site.

California HOPE for Children: Public Services Web Excellence Award Winner

California’s HOPE for Children Trust Account Program sets aside $3,000 for young people who lost a parent or guardian to COVID-19 and for youth who experienced extended foster care.

With TIAA, we designed and built hopeaccount.ca.gov, the program’s public front door, giving each eligibility group its own path from “am I eligible?” to “what do I do next?”

We continue to operate the platform, and it is our second program for the California State Treasurer, alongside CalKIDS.
